Fantastic Opportunity for a skilled Operations Engineer. Join a Dynamic Company with established infrastructure. Onsite Parking Provided. Our client is a provider of quality products to consumers across Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking a highly skilled I.T. Operations Engineer to help steer their operations 24/7, 365 days of the year. Being able to troubleshoot quickly and resolve outages in a timely manner is key along with undertaking proactive steps to ensure the security and reliability of the company's IT systems are intact.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Level 2 and 3 Infrastructure support responsibilities

Repetitive tasks responsibilities

Proactive task responsibilities

Project delivery responsibilities

Contactable 24/7 for IT emergencies - Safe and Well- Compliance

To be successful you will have:

Experience in a corporate environment

Possess a solid understanding of core infrastructure and services to support large organizations

IT Qualification to AQF 5 Standard (Certificate IV or equivalent)/Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline

Microsoft Certification (At least MCSA or equivalent)

VMWare VSphere (VCP or equivalent)

Experience managing corporate AWS/Azure environments

ITIL Foundation (v3 or higher)

Good documentation skills

Able to follow ITIL process

Strong knowledge and commercial experience in all aspects of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems administration and security tools

Understanding of Security principles associated with networks, email, operating systems, firewalls, VPNs, databases, virus management, intrusion detection, cryptography, and e-commerce, with a deeper specialization in at least two of these fields

Demonstrated Knowledge of:

VMWare vSphere

Microsoft Exchange

SQL Server

SharePoint

Microsoft patching processes (WSUS, KACE, and SCCM)

Microsoft IIS Services

Backup Systems (Veeam, Backup Exec, CommVault)

Anti-Virus Tools (Sophos, McAfee, Symantec)

Microsoft Desktop SOE Build and Deployment Tools

A bonus if you have exposure to:

Traditional and Unified Compute Solutions (DELL, HP, Cisco UCS)

Shared Storage Solutions (DAS, NAS, FC, iSCSI, FCoE)

Network Switching (Cisco / HP)

Microsoft Dynamics AX
