Activities Officer UnitingCare Queensland – Toowoomba Residential Aged Care Facility Employment Status: Permanent Full-Time Remuneration: $36.32 per hour + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Super + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts As an Activities Officer you will: develop, coordinate, and lead activities for residents aimed at fulfilling their social and recreational needs, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. You will observe and record the effectiveness of programs, monitor residents’ progress and adjust activities as needed. You may also transport residents to outings and attend to personal care needs as required. Responsibilities Develop, coordinate and lead engaging activities for residents. Observe and record program effectiveness, monitor progress and adjust plans. Transport residents to outings and provide personal care support as needed. Encourage creative participation and contribute to team success. Qualifications Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent. Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support or equivalent qualification. NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain. Basic experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops). Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. Benefits Flexible work arrangements.
