Activities Officer | Residential Aged Care Permanent Full-Time opportunity available at Toowoomba Residential Aged Care Facility. Remuneration: $ (salary packaging, super, penalties, allowances, employee discounts). Responsibilities Develop, coordinate and lead activities for residents to fulfil their social and recreational needs. Observe and record the effectiveness of the programs, monitoring residents’ ongoing progress and adjusting programmes to any developing needs. Transport residents (as requested and approved) on outings using BlueCare vehicles. Attend to resident/client personal care needs as required. Encourage and support residents’ independence and improve their quality of life. Be creative, contribute ideas and enjoy the role while supporting the team’s success. Qualifications Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support or equivalent qualification. NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain. Basic experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.). Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. Willingness to work flexible shifts and participate in a team‑based environment.
