We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join a high‑performing state government team responsible for delivering new school and corporate reporting products. This role is suited to someone who is highly experienced with SQL, ETL processes, and on‑premise database environments. You’ll be working with structured data pipelines, ensuring daily reliability and scalability across a team of developers. Key Responsibilities Extract data from source systems and stage it efficiently. Build and maintain ETL processes using SQL and internal tooling. Ensure daily data loads run reliably and at scale. Collaborate with a team of ~12 developers to support reporting product delivery. Contribute to foundational work that will support future platform uplift. Maintain high‑quality coding, documentation, and data governance processes. Highly Desirable Criteria Deep experience with SQL and large‑scale ETL workflows. Strong background with on‑prem SQL Server environments. Ability to design scalable, maintainable data pipelines. Experience delivering reporting or BI‑related products. Experience working in large enterprise environments.Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing practices. Familiarity with code‑generation tools or automated data frameworks. Skills and Experience Proven experience as a SQL Developer, BI Developer, or ETL Specialist. Strong ability to work with complex datasets and transform them into usable reporting structures. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to reliability and performance. Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team.
