About the Role An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and committed VCE Psychology Teacher to join our vibrant School community commencing Term 1 2026. This is a full-time ongoing key role reporting to the Head of Science the successful candidate will inspire students curiosity and passion for science through engaging inquiry-based lessons that develop critical thinking problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of scientific concepts and their real‑world applications. As a valued member of St Catherines School all staff are expected to uphold and embody the Schools strategic vision values and traditions while contributing to the development of a Culture of Thinking. To be successful in this opportunity you will require : Current VIT Registration. VCE Psychology teaching experience essential. A current knowledge of Australian Curriculum imperatives as they impact on Science. Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and willingness to embrace the St Catherines Teaching for Thinking culture. Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes. An active supporter of and contributor to a collegial work environment. Demonstrated innovative use of ICT to enrich learning. Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the School at all times.
