About the role Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced VCE Psychology teachers who are passionate about teaching in an online environment. This role is full time and due to start Term 1 2026. Part time may be an option (subject to negotiation). * Please note that online teachers are required to work from our Casey office currently in Skye. The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy. Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study; Competent in the use of ICT learning platforms, in particular, Canvas; Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to engage students in online learning Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development Provide a child-safe environment in accordance with the child-safe standards; Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures; Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct; Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools; Ensure students’ views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives; Model and promote the vision and values of the school; Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels and develop online VCE courses for delivery; Maintain records of class attendance and record student progress; Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan; Attend and participate in staff meetings as required; Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer. Requirements Qualifications Evidence of the right to work in Australia Proof of identity Recognised teaching qualification Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable) Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Statements of service from previous child-connected roles References from previous child-connected roles You will: Be a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faith Be committed to improving student academic outcomes Have high expectations for what students are capable of, both academically and behaviourally Relate well to staff, students and parents. Have a servant heart Have demonstrated excellent organisational skills About you Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning outcomes. Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes. Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
