About the Role An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and committed VCE Psychology Teacher to join our vibrant School community commencing Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time, ongoing role. In this key role, reporting to the Head of Science, the successful candidate will inspire students' curiosity and passion for science through engaging, inquiry-based lessons that develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts and their real-world applications. As a valued member of St Catherine’s School, all staff are expected to uphold and embody the School's strategic vision, values, and traditions, while contributing to the development of a Culture of Thinking. To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Current VIT Registration. VCE Psychology teaching experience essential. Previous experience teaching Years 7 to 10 Science. A current knowledge of Australian Curriculum imperatives as they impact on Science. Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and willingness to embrace the St Catherine’s Teaching for Thinking culture. Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes. An active supporter of and contributor to a collegial work environment. Demonstrated innovative use of ICT to enrich learning. Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the School at all times. Why work for us?
