Position Details • Permanent, part‑time (48 hours per fortnight – 3 days per week)• Grade 2 Classification (VB1‑VB4)• Alfred site – flexible hours available upon negotiation• 5 weeks annual leave• Great staff benefits Role Overview The role is a part‑time Senior/Grade 2 Physiotherapist in the Respiratory stream, providing pre‑lung transplant assessments, ICU and respiratory ward management, and outpatient gym services. The senior physiotherapist will lead the development and delivery of respiratory physiotherapy services, supervise students and Grade 1 staff, and contribute to quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage a caseload of respiratory patients, coordinating with other staff as needed Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services to ICU, respiratory wards and outpatient settings Educate physiotherapy students and supervise Grade 1 staff within the respiratory stream Implement and support quality improvement projects Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and effective communication in a dynamic clinical environment Qualifications & Skills Registered to practice in Victoria (AHPRA) Advanced knowledge and skill in physiotherapy across relevant areas Experience in caseload planning and staff coordination Demonstrated ability to undertake quality initiatives Strong supervision and developmental skills for staff and students Excellent communication and time‑management abilities Staff Benefits Salary packaging and novated leasing Discounted health insurance Staff car parking (subject to availability) Contact & Application For enquiries call Brenda Button, Physiotherapy Respiratory Stream Leader at (03) 9076 3450 or email Applications close at 11:00 pm on Monday 15 December 2025.
