Job Overview We’re seeking a People Partner to join the P&C function supporting the Faculty of Medicine & Health. This role will support a faculty that is ranked as one of the world’s top 50 medical faculties, enabling employees to thrive in a dynamic environment. Key Details Employment Type: Full time (35 hours per week) Duration: Continuing with 12‑month contract option Remuneration: From $123k–$143k + 17% Superannuation & leave loading Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid Working) Responsibilities Provide trusted people‑focused advice and guidance to managers and employees in your client group. Partner proactively with clients to deliver effective P&C solutions. Offer employee‑lifecycle guidance from performance management to line management. Implement and improve P&C policies and procedures. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HR legislation and practices. Provide workforce reporting and analysis for informed decision‑making. Support and mentor Advisors and Officers. Qualifications & Skills Strong working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and enterprise agreements; experience resolving complex people matters. Proven ability to manage employee relations and casework with professionalism, discretion and sound judgment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated capability to deliver timely, practical HR advice in a dynamic, complex environment. Experience mentoring or supporting junior P&C staff, contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing team culture. Ability to interpret and apply people data and insights to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement. Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
