About the Role As a Reservations Coordinator at Rydges Darling Square, you will be responsible for processing all reservations courteously, efficiently, and accurately, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained. A key focus of this role is managing group bookings with precision and care, while also handling FIT reservations as required. Your attention to detail and commitment to exceeding guest expectations will play a vital part in delivering a seamless booking experience and supporting the overall success of the hotel. Skills & Experience Proven experience in hotel reservations or a similar front office role. Proven experience in reservations or front office within a hotel environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to process reservations accurately and efficiently. Experience managing group bookings, including preparing quotations, contracts, and group folders. Ability to monitor and maintain block statuses and follow up on deposits and prepayments. Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal departments and ensuring smooth group operations. Proficiency in handling reservation requests via phone, email, and GDS systems. Knowledge of hotel room types, rates, packages, and selling strategies to maximize revenue. Skilled in upselling room types and packages to enhance guest experience and revenue. Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, rooming lists, and operational handovers.
