We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Group Reservations Coordinator to join our Reservations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll play a vital role in managing group bookings and enhancing guest satisfaction. About the Role The Group Reservations Coordinator is responsible for handling all group booking inquiries, ensuring seamless communication between clients and hotel departments, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring smooth transactions from the initial booking to group arrival. Key Responsibilities: Handle all group reservation inquiries and bookings with efficiency and professionalism. Ensure accurate processing of group reservations, including rooming lists and special requests. Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Optimize revenue opportunities by adhering to pricing strategies and upselling additional services. Prepare and distribute weekly group forecasts and coordinate with relevant departments. Ensure pre-payment and proper documentation for group bookings. Assist the Reservations Manager with FIT reservations during high-demand periods. Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a similar role or hotel reservations/group reservations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency with Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite (an advantage). Professional attitude and flexibility, including occasional Saturdays or Public holiday. Chance to really own what you do.
