About the role The Shepherd Centre is looking to grow its fundraising income from both organisations and individuals within the wider community. This is a permanent full-time (38 hours per week) opportunity. Actual working days can be negotiated with the successful candidate. The Individual Giving Coordinator will coordinate and enhance TSC’s regular giving and direct marketing efforts. You will oversee the annual campaigns, maintain donor relationships, and develop and evaluate supporter journeys. Your role includes coordinating acquisition and retention campaigns across various channels, creating compelling collateral, and managing decline processes to reduce attrition. In direct marketing, you will implement multi‑channel campaigns, manage the entire campaign lifecycle, and collaborate with the Clinical team for impactful stories. Additionally, you will assist with donation processing during busy periods, collaborate with the fundraising team to achieve targets, and foster a strong fundraising culture driven by best practices and data insights. Day to day, you will be involved in tasks such as: Deliver regular giving campaigns, including EOFY, acquisition, retention, donor journeys and decline management across channels such as email, mail, telemarketing, DRTV and social. Manage and nurture regular giving donor relationships and support the development of fundraising collateral. Coordinate multi‑channel direct marketing appeals (mail, phone, email, SMS, social), including briefing, creative development, data review, budgeting and reporting. Collaborate with copywriters, designers and clinical teams to produce compelling campaigns and case studies. Respond to donor enquiries and support post‑campaign analysis and supporter journey development. Provide support with donation processing during peak periods and contribute to broader fundraising initiatives and team targets. Support a strong, data‑driven fundraising culture and undertake additional tasks as required. About You The successful candidate for this role will ideally have: At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role. Excellent relationship‑building skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to use the Internet to obtain data and reference material. Proven project management skills and ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Fundraising experience desired but not essential. Demonstrate an interest in growing your knowledge of best practice fundraising across acquisition and retention. Well‑developed spoken, written, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to obtain a Working with Children and NDIS Worker Check. Full working rights to work in Australia. Why join The Shepherd Centre?
