What is your role? You will be responsible for the design and documentation of electrical services, including power distribution, lighting, communications, and other building services systems, guiding projects from concept through to construction. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated and innovative design solutions. Your work will ensure compliance with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and local authority requirements. You will also conduct site inspections, coordinate with contractors during construction, and contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable design strategies. Engaging directly with clients to understand their needs, you will deliver tailored electrical solutions that meet performance and regulatory requirements. About You Educational Background: A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline). Experience: 3+ years of electrical engineering experience within the Australian Building Services industry, with demonstrated expertise in delivering projects from early concept design through to construction completion. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical services design including lighting, power, communications, and energy efficiency principles, with an in‑depth understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards.
