The Role As the Global E‑commerce & Digital Manager , you will own the digital ecosystem and drive online growth across multiple brands and regions. This strategic yet hands‑on leadership position involves building and leading the digital function from the ground up, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and working closely with the executive team. Key Responsibilities Digital Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a cohesive global digital strategy covering e‑commerce, digital marketing, and platform development, ensuring alignment with commercial growth and brand positioning. E‑commerce Management: Optimise several Shopify‑based e‑commerce websites in the US, UK, EU and beyond—improving user experience, traffic, and conversion rates. Oversee content and performance of non‑transactional brand sites in AU/NZ to funnel engagement and support sales. Digital Marketing Campaigns: Lead end‑to‑end digital marketing across all regions, from SEO and email to paid advertising (SEM, social, display). Plan campaigns, manage budgets, and collaborate with agencies to drive qualified traffic and convert visitors into customers. Team & Agency Leadership: Manage a small digital team (including a Marketing/Digital Assistant) and external agencies (web development, SEO, PPC). Provide clear direction, foster collaboration, and hold everyone accountable for results. Data‑Driven Growth: Analyse performance data and customer insights to inform decisions, track ROI, optimise marketing spend, and translate data into actionable strategies. Innovation & Expansion: Identify and execute new digital growth opportunities—e‑commerce entry into new markets, refine go‑to‑market strategies for product launches, or implement new technologies enhancing the customer experience. Platform Development: Plan the roadmap for future e‑commerce platforms and digital tools, ensuring the infrastructure is next‑generation, scalable, and able to support expansion. About You Proven E‑commerce Experience: 5+ years in e‑commerce/digital management, driving online growth across multiple brands or regions. Shopify & Tech Skills: Deep familiarity with Shopify; bonus if you have managed ERP integrations like NetSuite. Digital Marketing Expertise: Hands‑on experience with paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, etc.), including budget management, audience targeting, and ROI analysis. Data‑Driven & Analytical: Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker/Data Studio) and ability to interpret data for evidence‑based decisions. Strategic Project Leadership: Track record of shaping digital roadmaps and delivering projects such as new e‑commerce sites or market entries. Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and agencies, mentor staff, and collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, creative, sales, and product teams. Autonomous & Adaptable: Highly independent, self‑motivated, capable of managing a broad and evolving workload with minimal supervision. Passion for Digital & Brand: Enthusiastic about digital innovation, e‑commerce trends, and building great customer experiences, especially for premium or design‑led consumer brands. Global Mindset: Exposure to US, UK, or European e‑commerce markets, understanding localisation, currencies, and regional marketing nuances.
