This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Job Description At Montu, we’re building one of Australia’s most impactful healthcare companies — transforming access to alternative medicine and raising the standard of patient care. To do this well, we need a world-class approach to compliance and risk. We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Risk & Compliance team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role is central to strengthening Montu’s compliance framework and embedding a culture of integrity and accountability across the business. What You’ll Do Act as a trusted advisor to the business on compliance obligations and risks. Represent the compliance function in governance committees, projects, and initiatives. Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance frameworks, policies, and training. Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the organisation. Monitor regulatory changes and support the business in assessing impact. Lead and support internal compliance investigations, reporting, and monitoring programs. Partner with regulators and stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust. Qualifications What we’re looking for 7+ years in senior compliance roles within large or highly regulated organisations. Experience developing and implementing compliance programs across multiple domains. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and regulatory expectations. Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate with clarity. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Relevant tertiary qualifications in legal, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
