Job Overview We are looking for a senior change and communication leader to drive the adoption and integration of a Finance and Payroll system change as part of a larger digital transformation programme. This role sits within a dedicated Digital Change and Transformation function and is a full‑time position for a 2‑year fixed‑term contract. Our client is a major education‑sector organisation undergoing significant digital uplift through a multi‑year transformation programme aimed at modernising enterprise systems, improving operating models and enhancing user experience. This position plays a critical role within the Finance and Payroll capability, ensuring that staff are supported, engaged and ready for the upcoming changes. Key Responsibilities Execute the overarching Change and Communication Strategy for the Finance and Payroll stream. Work closely with the Program Change and Communication Lead to align delivery with broader programme objectives. Oversee all change and communication deliverables, conduct impact assessments, readiness activities and identify dependencies. Lead a small specialist team to plan and execute high‑quality change and communication initiatives, collaborating with other capability teams for consistent messaging. Guide stakeholders through change impacts, manage communications during complex or unexpected situations, track progress and provide regular updates to leadership. Identify potential resistance, develop mitigation strategies, manage risks and escalat key decisions to governance forums. Support the design and delivery of training programs to ensure end‑users are confident with new systems and processes. Qualifications Extensive experience delivering change across large IT and business transformation programmes, with deep expertise in enterprise applications and ERPs. Experience in finance and payroll transformation programmes is essential. Comfortable navigating complex environments, balancing competing priorities, analysing risks and influencing senior stakeholders.
