About the Role Local Area Coordinator – Parramatta, New South Wales. Full‑time, permanent, 38 hours per week, with work‑from‑home flexibility up to 2 days per week. Salary: $44.58/hr ($88,090 per year) + super and up to $18,550 salary packaging. What you’ll be doing Supporting people with disabilities, families and carers by providing linkage and referrals to community and mainstream services and to services funded by the NDIA Grant programs. Working with NDIS and Uniting training to develop a thorough understanding of how to best support participants through various stages of their pathway. Gathering information for the development of participants’ NDIS plans and helping them understand how the funding in their plan works. Supporting participants in exploring ways to achieve their goals. Undertaking other duties as requested by the Service Area Leadership Team. Who we’re looking for Great people, customer‑service, communication and time‑management skills. Background in disability and understanding of NDIS. Ability to manage KPIs or targets, multiple responsibilities or caseloads efficiently and meet service‑delivery deadlines. Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, and committed to Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness. Even better if you have Lived experience or experience caring for someone with a disability. What we offer Tax‑free salary packaging entitlements up to $15,900 per year.
