Delivery Consultant – Role Overview The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at AWS. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You’ll be a key player in driving customer success throughout the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies. Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies. Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with at least one programming language/technology: Java, Python, Ruby, C, or C++. Proficiency in a broad range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation). Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience with source control repositories (GitHub, GitLab, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce). Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity. Exposure to APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
