Munster is a well established organisation providing engineering, construction & maintenance services to a number of industries including water & waste water treatment plants and pumpstations. Due to our steady growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work we are currently seeking experienced workers in a variety of roles for the greater Brisbane region. A strong background in site installations and equipment overhauls will be very advantageous. We Require 2 x Mechanical Fitters The Roles Trade qualified essential with experience in water and wastewater industry preferred but will consider other industries. Tasks Carry out installation of structures and equipment Conduct preventive maintenance, modification and repairs on all general plant and equipment. Carry out mechanical assembly of rotating equipment. Strip, inspect, overhaul and repair gearboxes, mixers and pumps. Work can include "confined space entry" and "working at heights". Ability to work with computers i.e. iPads or tablets. Good reading, numeracy, communication and problem solving skills. Current driver's licence: Heavy/Medium rigid licence would be an advantage. Operate forklift, dogman/rigger, ewp and scissor lift: tickets would be highly thought of. Ability to work as part of a team. Because of the nature of the workplace, you will require Hepatitis A&B shots as well as tetanus.
