Senior Executive

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the full delivery of Corporate Trustee Services to a broad set of regulated entities and clients. Provide direct or oversight leadership to trustees, responsible entities, and other relevant stakeholders. Establish near- and long‑term goals aligned to organisational strategy and focused on innovation and operational excellence. Contribute to executive‑level strategic decision‑making and organisational direction. Co‑manage the Trustee Services budget, including oversight of third‑party providers. Build and maintain strong external relationships with investment managers, financial institutions, and other service partners. Lead external business partners to improve operating models, governance, and service capabilities. Develop, enhance, and implement a consistent governance framework for all Trustee Services policies and procedures. Champion the use of modern technologies (AI, workflow automation, machine learning, RPA, digital tools) to scale operations and improve performance. Attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent to build a high‑performing team. Lead all aspects of the talent lifecycle including sourcing, coaching, performance management, and professional development. Foster a learning‑oriented environment that supports growth, collaboration, and high engagement. Implement practices that create a dynamic, inclusive, and digitally enabled workplace. Ensure all activities relating to goal setting, development discussions, performance reviews, and compensation processes are effectively executed. Client, Market & Industry Excellence Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, industry trends, and developments in fund and trustee services. Bring a clear point of view on the evolution of excellent client service and regulatory standards. Use Agile, design thinking, and other advanced planning and delivery methodologies to accelerate execution. Continuously challenge traditional approaches to enhance service quality and client satisfaction. Leverage industry relationships to ensure leading practices are embedded into strategy and operations. Identify and implement metrics‑driven improvements across processes, systems, and operating models. Conduct regular assessments of local and offshore operations, identifying optimal solutions and leading change. Work closely with technology and business teams to improve efficiency through workflow redesign and automation. Stay informed on regulatory and industry changes, ensuring timely implementation across the function. Lead culture change initiatives aimed at operational excellence and innovation. Provide strong oversight of daily operations, ensuring timely, accurate and high‑quality service delivery. Support the evolution of the Trustee Services operating model to drive long‑term scalability. Collaborate across the organisation to resolve internal issues, address client needs, and deliver enhancements. Manage operational reporting, ensuring management information is accurate, meaningful, and timely. Experience & Qualifications Significant leadership experience in Trustee Services, Fund Services, or a related financial services area. Proven success managing regulated environments and governance frameworks. Demonstrated ability in leading high‑performing teams and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Strong track record in technology‑enabled transformation and automation. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Experience with Agile, Lean, or design thinking methodologies advantageous. Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
