About the Role Reporting to the CEO, the Dealer Principal is a highly visible position, which is poised for the challenge of growing the existing RV dealership in the Toowoomba area. You will build a successful team to deliver on sales and revenue targets. This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires someone who can support both high‑level complex Sales and servicing responsibilities as well as not be afraid to dive into the details on a day‑to‑day basis. Responsibilities Help build the dealership from the ground up, including setup, preparation and furnishing for the grand opening. Develop a strong team culture that encourages success and minimises staff turnover. Create a collaborative and customer‑centric environment by managing all aspects of the dealership including finance & insurance options, parts & accessories, service department, new and used caravans. Identify opportunities for growth within the industry and community while maintaining manufacturer relationships. Provide staff training and development, including performance‑management reviews. Work closely with head office to develop plans for dealership‑specific events and promotions, including caravan and industry show events. Collaborate with head office regarding warranty, repairs, quality, sales, HR support and implementation of dealer‑management and CRM software. Ensure company values, policies and procedures are adhered to, including workplace health & safety, sales processes and human resources. Key Criteria Proven background in sales, sales management and within a Recreational Vehicle dealership or similar industry. Strong leadership and communication skills, essential for providing leadership, training and direction to the team. Meticulously organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to bring customer delight and maximise customer satisfaction, retention and brand loyalty. High level of integrity with all internal and external stakeholders.
