Senior Contracts Administrator – NSW Department of Communities and Justice Location: Sydney CBD Employment type: Temporary – Full‑Time (35 hours per week) Seniority level: Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary: $129,464 – $142,665 base, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Your role The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing established contracts and transitional arrangements for new contracts. The role ensures information integrity, negotiates changes or modifications, and monitors supplier performance to deliver outcomes aligned with stakeholder expectations. You will report to the Director, Support Services and work alongside the Managers of five business areas, supporting the work of NSW Courts and Tribunals. You will provide expertise across all stages of contract management, working closely with teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and seamless service delivery. What You’ll Do Develop detailed plans for managing contracts and monitoring and addressing supplier performance. Provide expert advice on current contracts to key stakeholders in DCJ, supporting informed decision making. Establish relationships with suppliers and ensure ongoing communication to address and resolve performance issues. Partner with staff from across Support Services providing high level advice and guidance to build expertise in contract management and improve practice and outcomes.
