Capital Build & Design – Wetherill Park NSW This is a full-time Construction Manager role at Capital Build & Design in Wetherill Park, NSW 2164. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the project team to coordinate activities, manage subcontractors, and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process. What you’ll be doing / Key Responsibilities Manage all construction activities across multiple project sites Lead, mentor and support Site Managers, Supervisors and trades Oversee project scheduling, programming and workflow coordination Ensure construction quality, WHS compliance and regulatory requirements Review and approve subcontractor work, variations and progress claims Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams Drive project delivery to meet deadlines, budgets and quality expectations Identify risks, resolve issues and escalation when required Provide regular progress reports to the Managing Director Skills & Experience Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager Strong background in residential construction (luxury homes, duplexes, multi-res) Demonstrated experience managing both residential and commercial construction projects Commercial construction experience beneficial Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Excellent understanding of NSW building codes, legislation and WHS Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Problem‑solver with a proactive, solutions‑driven approach Trade qualification or degree in Construction Management (preferred) Construction qualifications required including Diploma or Bachelor in Construction, White Card certification, and Project Management credentials Australian work rights required for this position What we offer Competitive salary and bonus opportunities Opportunities for professional development and training Flexible work arrangements to support work‑life balance A supportive and collaborative work environment About us Capital Build & Design is a leading construction company that specialises in commercial and residential projects.
