We foster a learning culture with a long-term career focus. This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained. The position can be based from any EML Australian office, with a relocation allowance available for eligible candidates. Your Opportunity EML is seeking experienced Claims professionals from New Zealand to join our growing organisation. As a Senior Claims Manager, you will set the standard in claims management, guide and support others through mentoring and coaching, and lead by example to foster a collaborative culture. Responsibilities Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy Assist workers and employers with the claim process, provide support, manage expectations and ensure timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery Assess liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies while conducting ongoing reviews of entitlements and payments Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other team members About You Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory You must currently reside in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonus Empathetic, resilient, and motivational with a customer-centric approach Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy to manage stakeholder engagement Team player who can collaborate and work independently What We Offer Inclusive, diverse, and respectful workplace culture Flexibility with opportunity to work from home when fully trained Comprehensive wellbeing program including discounted health insurance and gym membership Discounts at over 350 retailers via Rewards Hub Annual tenure and performance-based recognition Comprehensive learning and development support Company-wide events to celebrate success Quarterly Reward and Recognition Awards Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave plus superannuation Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Finance and Sales Industries Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at EML Group.
