Talent Acquisition Advisor - NSW Trustee and Guardian Do you have extensive experience working in a talent acquisition and recruitment environment? Can you build positive working relationships with hiring managers to support them in finding high‑performing candidates to work for us? We currently have a temporary full‑time opportunity within our People and Culture team. This is a temporary full‑time opportunity up to six months with a possibility of ongoing. The role is located across our office in Parramatta and Sydney CBD with hybrid working options available by negotiation, working 35 hours per week. Clerk Grade 7/8 – offering a competitive salary of $113,574 p.a. to $125,720 p.a. plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The agency supports the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Guardian to provide customer‑centred services to the people of NSW, including some of the state’s most vulnerable. We write more than 12,000 estate‑planning documents each year, support over 50,000 customers annually and manage in excess of eight billion dollars in customer assets. About The Team The Talent Acquisition team plays a crucial role in delivering effective, timely, and compliant support for talent acquisition and management within the organisation. We offer consultancy and advisory services in recruitment, talent acquisition, assessment, selection and onboarding and are dedicated to providing expert advice and guidance to hiring managers, with a strong focus on customers, service performance, process integrity, and compliance, ensuring the highest standards and organisational objectives are met. About The Role The Talent Acquisition Advisor provides support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring effective onboarding and off‑boarding. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you: establish effective partnerships with hiring managers across NSW Trustee and Guardian manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process and provide fit‑for‑purpose assessment strategies provide coaching and support to hiring managers on legislative compliance manage and maintain candidate relationships through providing meaningful and constructive feedback, ensuring a positive customer experience For more information about the position, view the role description. About You We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition advisor who can manage the end‑to‑end talent acquisition process. The ideal candidate will provide guidance on the relevant legislative requirements and support hiring managers in selecting the most suitable candidate for the role. Demonstrated ability to manage complex talent issues and work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment while balancing competing priorities. Proven ability to operate with minimum supervision and meet challenging timeframes. Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with both internal and external customers. Proactive, creative, and capable of thinking outside the box. Ability to provide training, mentorship, and coaching to hiring managers, panel members and direct reports to ensure adherence to legislative compliance. Essential Requirements Demonstrated experience in recruitment, selection, and talent acquisition. Extensive experience in recruitment and knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. Demonstrated working experience and skills with HR Systems and/or Recruitment management systems.
