We’re looking for a practical, hospitality‑savvy individual or couple to take on the rewarding challenge of managing a remote eco‑accommodation property in Queensland. This is more than a job—it’s a lifestyle opportunity for someone who thrives in nature, is comfortable with independence, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. What the role involves Day‑to‑day oversight of accommodation, guest services, housekeeping, kitchen/bar, and maintenance Managing reservations, online bookings, and guest communication using a Property Management System (PMS) Staff leadership including onboarding, task delegation, training and rostering Hands‑on work across departments during peak periods or staff absences Stock control, budget monitoring and basic bookkeeping Ensuring the site remains compliant with WHS and environmental standards We’re looking for someone who Has previous experience working remotely or independently in regional settings Is comfortable managing a property using a PMS and confident with general admin systems Understands what makes guests feel welcome and taken care of Is a clear communicator who can keep a small team motivated and on task Has a proactive, problem‑solving approach to property maintenance Holds a current RSA (RMLV an advantage) Values sustainability and is excited about living and working in nature Is prepared to undergo a National Police Check What’s on offer Salary package including all meals, accommodation and utilities Opportunity for a partner to also work on‑site depending on their experience Paid leave and access to a supportive external operations team A rare chance to immerse yourself in a slower, more meaningful way of living About the setting This secluded property is nestled in a rainforest region, offering guests an immersive experience in nature.
