We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Team Leader Staying in Business (SIB) & Pipeline Project Delivery to join us in our Gas West Asset Engineering & Project Delivery team in Perth on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Asset Engineering and Project Delivery, you will play a key role in the effective day to day delivery of a Project Management SIB and pipeline delivery acting as the first line of management for all Project Management staff, and / or drawing on knowledge of the most current tools, methods, procedures and equipment in Project Management and Pipeline Delivery to provide expert support and guidance on project management processes and procedures. Accountable in delivery of asset modification and upgrade project works for the business unit to meet the requirements of the assets and delivery of pipeline integrity and protection project works for Gas West. Key Responsibilities Team resource planning to plan and deliver all project works in portfolio. Vendor and Lifecycle Management : Develop and implement contractor and vendor management strategies for project delivery. Continuous Improvement : Drive the implementation of Asset Management principles, including reliability and maintenance strategies, and pursue ongoing opportunities for improvement through effective benchmarking and stakeholder engagement. Agreeing and producing detailed project plans with the project team(s), anticipating resource usage and availability, scheduling for optimum efficiency and maintaining metric data and estimating models. Approval of project management plans and project change requests. Accountable for the pipeline integrity and protection project works for the business unit such as pigging and digging. Responsible for the tracking and reporting progress and performance of one or more projects, producing and maintaining plans regarding time frames and resourcing, providing process administration support, contributing to quality control and preparing budgets. Your background Operations and Project Delivery Management, leadership, planning, analysis and good communication skills. Expert project management skills, coupled with a developed understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies. Ability to understand the relationship of specialised technical roles within the context of the overall project. Experienced in pipeline project delivery. Accuracy, attention to detail, proactive, innovative, strategic and highly organised. Foster a high performing team and continuous improvement. About The Team The Gas West Asset Engineering and Project Delivery team exists to provide engineering and project delivery services to ensure reliable and safe operation of the APA Business Unit Gas West assets. The team enables APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers. The team consists of Asset Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Major Maintenance and Gas East West Emergency Services.
