What is our Senior Social Worker role? YouthLink service provides specialist mental health services to young people aged with complex, persistent, or severe mental health difficulties, or experiencing significant symptoms and at risk of developing long‑term mental health disorders. They are required Tier 4 youth mental health services and may face barriers such as homelessness, transience or limited support networks. Service is primarily residential in the Perth northern metropolitan area. As part of this team, the Senior Social Worker will provide mental health assessments, clinical interventions, and case management at an advanced level to young people with serious and complex mental health disorders, or at serious risk of developing same. The role also provides supervision to other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and to students on placement; delivers consultative advice, liaison and training to enhance the capacity of Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers.
