Overview We have several exciting vacancies in our Children's Social Care Teams for full‑time and part‑time Social Workers and Senior Practitioners / Senior Social Workers. Responsibilities As a Children's Social Worker you will place children, young people and families at the centre of our practice, ensuring that their voices are listened to and that services are tailored to their individual needs. Relocation package of up to £8,000 (eligibility applies). Pay progression scheme to enable Social Workers to accelerate through the pay grade as you gain experience and skills. Scalable retention payments of up to £8,147 (Social Worker) and £9,118 (Senior Practitioner) over a 3‑year period, starting after your first full year of employment for staff in our Assessment, Family Support & Safeguarding and Corporate Parenting Teams. Refer a Friend Scheme – if you refer another Social Worker who is subsequently employed by us, we pay an introduction fee of £350. Access to the Cambridgeshire Academy for Reaching Excellence (CARE) to support your development, enabling you to become the best practitioner you can be. Requirements: Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration. Have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel county‑wide independently. Newly Qualified Social Workers are not accepted; we recruit to our ASYE programme at the beginning of each year.
