Sales & Operations Manager (HVAC Wholesale) Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: General Manager / Director Position Overview The Sales & Operations Manager (HVAC Wholesale) is a hybrid role responsible for driving sales growth, managing day‑to‑day operational activities, and acting as the Second‑in‑Charge (2IC) across the business. This position requires hands‑on involvement in customer service, order fulfilment, warehouse operations, and sales development, while also contributing to leadership, business improvement, and social media marketing for the brand. This role suits a physically capable, motivated, adaptable, and commercially minded individual with strong product knowledge or experience in the HVAC or building supplies industry. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Proactively grow sales through customer outreach, relationship building, and account management. Identify new business opportunities in HVAC wholesale and trade sectors. Deliver product advice and solutions to trade customers, installers, and contractors. Conduct regular outbound sales calls and follow‑up activities. Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotions. Provide insight into market trends and competitor activity. Operations & Warehouse Support Support warehouse activities including picking, packing, receiving, and dispatch when needed. Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Liaise with freight partners and manage logistics when required. Assist with stock takes and operational improvement initiatives.Act as second‑in‑charge to the Director/General Manager. Oversee daily workflow and assist with staff supervision. Step into leadership functions during management absences. Contribute to business planning, process improvements, and team leadership. Marketing & Social Media Participate in social media promotion including product showcases, customer spotlights, and brand updates. Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service to trade, retail, and wholesale clients. Resolve enquiries, quotes, and order issues promptly. Build long‑term customer loyalty and satisfaction. Required Skills & Experience Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building supplies (highly desirable). Proven sales experience, ideally in a trade‑based or wholesale environment. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Ability to work hands‑on in operations when required. Leadership or supervisory experience beneficial. Strong communication and customer service skills.
