Lecturer - Dietetics at Edith Cowan University, Joondalup Campus Salary: $117,905 - $139,307 P.A. (Level B) or $143,582 - $164,982 P.A. (Level C) Employment Type: Full‑time, Ongoing Location: Joondalup, Western Australia About the Opportunity The ECU Master of Nutrition and Dietetics program is delivered in modern, state‑of‑the‑art facilities on the Joondalup campus. Dietetics is part of the Allied Health Discipline, alongside Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Sonography, and Paramedicine. The appointee will be an important member of the Dietetics team, contributing to teaching, research, and scholarly activities within the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and across Allied Health. About You Lecturers are subject experts who design, develop, and deliver educational material using a range of methods and platforms. They create course and teaching material and lesson plans to engage with students and facilitate their learning. A lecturer is expected to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning practice within the program as well as the research profile as part of a highly experienced teaching team at ECU. Qualifications and Experience Accredited Practising Dietitian with at least 5 years industry experience. Experience in the development and delivery of research‑informed teaching in tertiary education and/or within a dietetic or related context. Developing research track record, including research outputs. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community partners, including those from industry and with lived experience. High degree of interpersonal skills including teamwork and leadership, communication and negotiating skills. Completion of a PhD or undertaking a higher degree in an appropriate field will be highly regarded but is not essential. Experience with student supervision is also highly regarded.
