The New Product Introduction (NPI) Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end development and introduction of new products within the Omega Power range. This role ensures new product initiatives are delivered on time, aligned with customer needs, compliant with Australian standards, and commercially viable within the electrical wholesale market. Working closely with the Sourcing & NPI Manager, suppliers and supply chain team, this position helps maintain a structured and well-documented NPI process that strengthens Omega Power’s competitiveness and brand reputation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all stages of the new product development process – from concept through to launch. Draft and oversee technical documentation, compliance certification, and quality assurance requirements. Maintain product specifications and lifecycle data. Support rationalization and continuous improvement of existing product ranges. Work with suppliers and the Sourcing & NPI Manager to ensure product design, testing, and packaging meet regulatory and brand standards. Ensure technical accuracy and brand consistency across all product collateral and communication materials. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure new SKUs are set up properly in the ERP system. Work closely with Sourcing & NPI Manager to create product launch campaigns, feature content, and promotional assets that engage customers and drive sales. Monitor industry trends, competitor launches, and customer feedback to identify gaps and opportunities. Contribute to business cases for new product opportunities based on commercial and technical viability. Support the Sourcing & NPI Manager in prioritizing NPD projects based on demand, feasibility, and return on investment. Key Skills & Experience 3+ years’ experience in product development, category coordination, or technical marketing within the electrical industrial. Technical background strongly preferred — qualifications in Electrical Engineering or experience as an A-Grade Electrician. Strong graphics design skill and marketing material development experience is essential. Knowledge of Australia compliance standards and approval processes is desired. Experience working with international suppliers and managing specification alignment. Experience of ERP system, such as Pronto, is an advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
