Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. About Breakfast Point Cafe Pty Ltd, trading as Rosso Italian, is a vibrant and popular Italian café and restaurant located in Gladesville. We pride ourselves on delivering authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional service, and a welcoming dining experience for our customers. About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications. Assist in menu planning and maintaining consistency in food presentation and quality. Monitor stock levels, maintain inventory, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients. Adhere to hygiene, food safety, and workplace health and safety standards. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service. Skills and Experience Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery. Minimum two years of relevant experience in a busy kitchen environment. Strong understanding of Italian and modern Australian cuisine. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Benefits Competitive salary package ($76,515 plus 12% superannuation).
