A fixed‑term, full‑time opportunity to work with a high‑performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service until 26 February 2027. VPS Grade 2: $60,295 – $77,430 plus superannuation. About the Business Unit The Corporate Governance and Support unit works in collaboration with program areas and communities to deliver justice services that are efficient, effective and integrated around community and client needs. There are five Justice Service Centres in Gippsland – Bairnsdale, Morwell, Sale, Warragul and Wonthaggi. The Justice Service Centres deliver Justice Operations and Community Engagement Services to the community. Each centre has a dedicated team of Justice Officers who ensure the efficient delivery of administration, operational support and reception services. About the Role The Justice Officer provides administration and client service duties, as required by the locations and the region. Some of Your Duties Will Include Greeting and liaising with clients and stakeholders to create an open and responsive environment that reflects the department's commitment to the delivery of justice. Undertaking tasks that provide an efficient administration function in the location and the region, including accounts payable, file management and mail. Participating in the development of the regional administration team, including continuous improvement activities, team building and business planning. This position is a 12‑month parental leave backfill and will commence in February 2026. About You Well‑developed computer literacy. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations would be advantageous. Experience in working in a multi‑disciplinary service delivery team would be advantageous. Qualifications / Requirements A current Victorian driver’s licence is required.
