What you'll be doing Preparing and serving a variety of espresso‑based drinks to our discerning customers Providing friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience Assisting with food preparation, counter service, and other front‑of‑house duties as needed Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth cafe operations and a welcoming atmosphere What we're looking for Previous experience as a barista and customer‑facing role in the hospitality industry Strong knowledge of coffee‑making techniques and a passion for creating high‑quality beverages Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional customer service A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation A friendly, positive, and team‑oriented attitude Availability across Monday to Saturday on a rotating roster What we offer A fun, collaborative, and inclusive team culture Free lunch on your shifts A commitment to your health and wellbeing Possibility of full‑time employment for the right candidate About us Le peche gourmand is a beloved local cafe that has been serving the Ballarat region for over a decade.
