Role Overview This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Newcastle, NSW, for a Sprayer Driver at COLAS Australia Group. The Sprayer Driver is responsible for operating specialised spraying equipment, ensuring the accurate application of bitumen or emulsion products, driving heavy vehicles, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and compliance standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires collaboration with team members to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of services. Responsibilities Operate specialised spraying equipment to apply bitumen or emulsion products accurately. Drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently within project sites. Maintain and inspect spraying equipment and associated vehicles. Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members and clients. Qualifications Proficiency in truck driving and ability to operate heavy vehicles. Valid heavy combination license. Valid dangerous goods license. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Experience handling spraying equipment is advantageous. Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical tasks. Previous experience in road maintenance or construction is a plus.
