All about the gig: Reporting to the Club General Manager and working closely with our National F&B Manager, you’ll run our vibrant V-Café — the heart of our club community. You’ll make sure our members get their post-workout fuel with a side of great vibes. A taste of what you'll be doing: You’ll serve up delicious, nutritious meals, snacks and smoothies that keep our members smiling. You’ll manage daily operations of the cafe and keep everything running like clockwork. You’ll own the cafe strategy — budgets, reports and all that good stuff. You’ll lead your team to deliver standout service, every single shift, including finding the right talent, training them and rostering them correctly. You’ll create a space that feels warm, welcoming and unmistakably Virgin. Experience and qualifications: You're warm, honest and genuine with 12 months of comparable experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry. You may have some hospitality qualifications. A+ for you. You have experience working towards KPIs and have achieved and exceeded targets. Nice to have: You love to create meaningful moments for people. Whatever a member needs, whatever a member is looking for, you help them find it. You get a kick out of creating unexpected experiences which make people say wow You're comfortable communicating at all levels and you're authentic when you express yourself. You can be counted on to skillfully respond to feedback and complaints. You can flex your schedule to suit the rhythm of the club and cafe opening hours.
