The Role Reporting to the Venue Manager and Precinct Sommelier, we are seeking a Sommelier to assist with the smooth running of daily beverage operations at one of Sydney's most beautiful venues. Working with an all-Australian wine list, your role will be service focused providing exceptional customer service to all guests. It will also include assistance with stock control and team trainings, with the opportunity to share your passion of Australia's wine scene. Starting as a casual position, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person. Desirable Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a hatted venue or similar High attention to detail and communication skills Ability to multitask, work under pressure and resolve problems efficiently Knowledge of Australian wine & spirits The Perks Working with a new & dynamic beverage team within the Trippas White Group with Mentorship and Career growth opportunities Weekly tasting & education groups within the TWG team Potential for furthering education within WSET and / or CMS Working & contributing to a 450-bin wine list with an opportunity for growth Applicants This position can either suit an experienced Sommelier who is ready for a new challenge or a Junior Sommelier who is wanting to progress in their career.
