Aged Care Assessment Services – Assessor Discover a career where care goes both ways Location – travel across the ACT Flexible hours and days – Part time 3 days Annual Total Remuneration Package of $125,000.00 (Full time equivalent) 7 additional leave days per year (pro rata for part time) Mileage reimbursed at 88c km in line with Travel Policy Pay less tax with Not For Profit Salary Packaging What will your role look like As an Assessor you’ll be out and about in your Region visiting and completing Residential Aged Care (RAC) Funding Assessments using the AN-ACC Assessment Tool. Day to day responsibilities include Assessments for New residents Respite care Reconsideration and palliative AN-ACC Assessment To be successful you’ll need A current RAC Funding Assessor accreditation (unrestricted ideally) A genuine passion for the elderly A Tertiary qualification in a health related discipline with the relevant current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, Medical Officer, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with 5 years experience delivering clinical services in an aged care setting Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC Classification principles and Quality of Care principles The ability to work autonomously in a geographically dispersed team while maintaining focus To be technologically savvy A current unrestricted NSW/ACT Drivers licence with access to a reliable motor vehicle Willingness to apply for a Police Check What we can offer you Join a highly engaged dynamic team where you’ll be supported to grow and take on new challenges Make a real difference in the lives of Older Australians – play a critical role in assessing their needs and ensuring they get the right care Build valuable skills and sharpen your expertise to help you grow a career in Aged Care Services Flexibility and fulfillment where you can prioritise work/life balance, build strong relationships with your colleagues and make an impact on clients and their families Catholic Healthcare acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and dream.
