Nexus Case Manager The GEO Group Australia Full‑Time salary $94,000 to $104,000 (based on experience) plus superannuation. Why This Role Matters As a Nexus Case Manager, you’ll be the bridge between custody and community. You’ll work intensively with men pre- and post-release, guiding them through the challenges of reintegration and empowering them to build safer, healthier, and more connected lives. This is not just case management, it’s about changing trajectories, reducing re‑offending, and strengthening families and communities. About Ravenhall Correctional Centre Ravenhall is Victoria’s largest medium‑security prison, designed with innovation and humanity at its core. With dedicated units for forensic mental health and complex behavioural needs, Ravenhall embodies GEO’s Continuum of Care philosophy, supporting individuals both inside prison and beyond the gate. Through partnerships with Forensicare, GEO HealthCare Plus, The Y, Honeywell, and Bendigo Kangan Institute of TAFE, Ravenhall delivers an integrated service system that tackles the root causes of offending and builds pathways to success. About The Bridge Centre The Bridge Centre is Australia’s first‑of‑its‑kind Community Reintegration Centre, offering specialist post‑release support. Here, men continue their rehabilitation journey with the guidance of expert case managers and community partners. It’s a place of hope, opportunity, and transformation, where reintegration is not just supported, but actively nurtured. What You Will Do As a Nexus Case Manager, you will: Build strong, professional relationships with clients and their families to support reintegration Develop tailored Individual Reintegration and Support Plans pre‑release Provide assertive outreach for up to three months post‑release, ensuring clients engage with housing, employment, education, health, and community services Maintain and grow networks with state‑wide service providers to maximise opportunities for clients Deliver crisis support and referrals when needed, ensuring no one falls through the cracks Contribute to program development, data management, and strategic growth This role is based across Ravenhall Correctional Centre (Ravenhall, VIC) and The Bridge Centre (Richmond, VIC), with outreach in the community and occasional interstate travel. Is This You? Your Essential Skills for Success Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Human Services, or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of the Victorian Criminal Justice System and evidence‑based reintegration practices Experience working with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, and those with mental health or cognitive impairments Current Australian driver’s licence and ability to obtain security clearance Resilient, empathetic, and skilled in building non‑judgemental professional relationships The Rewards: Investing in Your Career and Wellbeing Joining GEO means being part of a team committed to professional excellence and making a real difference.
