Northern Beaches Hospital – Ward Clerk (casual, Outpatients Department) Operated by Healthscope, NBH is in Frenchs Forest, 13 km north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488‑bed facility comprising 60% public and 40% private beds, providing services including surgery, emergency department, intensive care, birthing, paediatrics, cardiac, mental health, dialysis, cancer centre and outpatients. Responsibilities Providing patient‑centred customer service: greet all customers, handle enquiries with a friendly and professional manner, book, reschedule & bill appointments, maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records. Liaise with medical staff. Undertake general administration duties. Coordinate with other hospital areas. Manage patient electronic records ensuring privacy and confidentiality of patient information. Essential Criteria High level interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments. Good computer literacy and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). A track record of providing great service and customer experience. Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Ability to multitask with competing priorities.
