The Team: Customer Service Officers in the Neurology Unit provide essential administrative and reception support within a busy specialist department. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role contributes to the efficient coordination of patient services, assists clinical staff with administrative processes, and ensures high-quality customer service is delivered to patients, families, and visitors. The Role: Provide clerical support for the coordination and efficient operation of the Neurology Outpatient reception, in accordance with the relevant guidelines and protocols of the Agency. Accurately collect manual and computerised patient information system data. Perform duties in accordance with the policies and procedures relating to clinical, financial and administrative requirements for the Neurology Outpatient Clinics. You will need to: Provide an effective and efficient reception service for all patients presenting to the clinic. Schedule appointments for Neurology Outpatient clinics in accordance with clinic timetables, ceilings and specific limitations that may apply to each clinic. Process clinic alterations, additions, and cancellations in liaison with clinical staff. Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment: Permanent part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part type, and casual vacancies. Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022. Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
