We’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our fast-paced, values-driven business This is a hands‑on, high-trust role where you'll support the Finance Manager and take ownership of key finance functions — including payroll, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting. If you’re a detail-driven, adaptable finance professional with a strong grasp of Xero and a passion for keeping things running smoothly, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a growing team. What You’ll Do Payroll Process weekly, end-to-end payroll with full compliance Maintain employee records and coordinate updates with P&C Ensure adherence to Fair Work, STP, ATO, super, and payroll tax Accounts Receivable Raise invoices and credit notes Manage customer credit applications and debtor follow-up Month-End & Reporting Support month-end and year-end processes Prepare reconciliations, journals, and financial reports Assist with audit prep and compliance reporting Banking & Reconciliations Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts Investigate and resolve discrepancies proactively Accounts Payable Support Back up AP when needed: invoices, payments, reimbursements Match receipts to POs and verify OPEX/CAPEX spend Finance Systems & Compliance Help improve internal controls and optimise finance processes What You’ll Bring Solid hands‑on experience in finance or accounting — ideally 3+ years Strong knowledge of Australian payroll (Fair Work, tax, super, STP) Expertise in Xero — including payroll setup and configuration Experience across AR, AP, reconciliations, and reporting Intermediate/advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) High attention to detail, time management, and accountability Comfortable in a small team, happy to pitch in across functions A collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor and share knowledge Why Join Vision Made Co?
