Clinical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our 3F Ward team. This advanced nursing role provides clinical leadership, expert guidance and high-quality care across gynaecology, urology, urogynaecology and plastics. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to patient-centred care. As a Clinical Nurse , you will play a key role in mentoring staff, supporting education programs and contributing to ongoing quality improvement across the ward. This permanent part-time role offers 45 hours per fortnight. About the Opportunity Join a collaborative, patient-focused team and act as a clinical resource across urology and renal care. You will: Provide expert knowledge in urology, gynaecology, plastics and urogynaecology Foster a positive, supportive and cohesive team culture Supervise, guide and develop clinical staff Contribute to orientation, in-service education and competency programs Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives Your Skills and Experience You will be a strong communicator and supportive mentor who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will also have: Current registration with AHPRA. Minimum five years of acute post-graduate nursing experience. Extensive experience in urology, gynaecology, plastics or related specialities. Ability to work a rotating roster, including on-call. Strong understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a designated portfolio. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Understanding of accreditation processes and quality frameworks. Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse role.
