Strata Community Manager

John Dethridge Strata Services seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our strata management team in the vibrant Fremantle CBD. We are a boutique family-owned and operated business with over 35 years experience in the industry and a proud reputation for delivering local, personalised service. An experienced strata manager with a strong legal and technical understanding of the Strata Titles Act 1985 (WA) and Regulations. Certificate IV Accreditation in Strata Community Management, or at least 1-2 years in the industry (desirable). A positive and confident attitude, strong work ethic and collaborative team player. Highly organised with exceptional time management skills, high attention to detail and efficient problem solver. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Sound financial literacy / accounting skills. Police clearance and current drivers license required. We will otherwise consider a Trainee Strata Management position for the right candidate who will be supported with in-house and external industry training to gain required qualifications and accreditation. Previous property industry experience or related university qualification would be desirable. Liaise with council of owners, lot owners, tenants, real estate agents, tradespeople and other stakeholders as required. Prepare AGM agendas, budgets, minutes of meetings, access letters and general correspondence. Chair strata company General Meetings and Council Meetings, including after-hours as required. Organise property maintenance; seek quotes and issue workorders as approved by council of owners; review 10 year maintenance plans, process insurance claims. Monitor and report on financial performance and activities. Ensure strata management compliance with the Act & Regulations.
