Geospatial SQL Developer

Geospatial SQL Developer Contract: Initial contract until October 2026. Can be based in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA or TAS. Experience 5+ years’ experience with GIS software development and cloud solutions. Demonstrated ability to deliver geospatial solutions through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices, including Azure Enterprise Cloud. Strong proficiency in SQL Server spatial functions (e.g., STDistance, STIntersects). Experience with Azure Maps REST APIs and SDKs. Familiarity with Azure Function Apps or Logic Apps for lightweight geospatial processing. Understanding of coordinate systems, spatial indexing, and data formats such as GeoJSON and WKT.
