Integration Developer Ignite Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia We’re seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join a large government department in Canberra. This role involves designing, building, and supporting complex data integration solutions for mission‑critical systems that support national security and maritime operations. Key Details Location: Canberra, ACT Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2026, with up to two 12‑month extensions Citizenship Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen Security Clearance: At least Baseline clearance or must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Responsibilities Design, build and support data integration solutions using webMethods, IBM App Connect, MQ Servers Provide systems analysis and technical recommendations Develop software for maritime surveillance and geospatial data management Participate in capacity planning and performance optimisation Ensure compliance with security, governance and record‑keeping standards Provide 24/7 support on a rostered basis Essential Skills Strong coding and integration experience with IBM ODM, webMethods, IBM App Connect Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Java, and high‑volume application interfaces Experience in complex application development and supporting mission‑critical systems Knowledge of integration technologies and Command & Control systems Why Join Us Work on nationally significant projects supporting border security and emergency management Influence system design and integration strategy Be part of a collaborative, high‑performing team How to Apply Please email your CV and cover letter to or phone for a confidential discussion.
