Salesforce Developer – 7+ Years Experience – Location: Canberra – Project Duration: 3 months Roles and Responsibilities Proficient in Salesforce development (Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components) and OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures). Strong knowledge of API integrations (REST/SOAP) and experience with JSON/XML data transformations. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket) and agile development methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce or OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity) development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging abilities. Adaptable and proactive, with a desire to learn new technologies and processes. Certifications (Preferred) Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, OmniStudio Developer, or OmniStudio Consultant certifications. Key Roles of the Project Overview An OmniStudio Platform Developer to design and implement cutting‑edge solutions using Salesforce OmniStudio components—FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build guided interactions, integrate with external systems, and help streamline complex business processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Development Develop and maintain OmniStudio solutions, including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures. Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, aligning with best practices for performance, security, and maintainability. Integration & Data Management Integrate Salesforce with external applications and data sources using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or other relevant technologies. Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing robust data mapping, transformation, and error‑handling processes. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with business analysts, architects, and technical leads to refine requirements and design high‑value user experiences. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on development timelines, risks, and dependencies. Testing & Quality Assurance Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and collaborate with QA teams for UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Identify and fix defects, optimize code for performance, and implement governance to maintain code quality. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Create and maintain technical documentation for OmniStudio components, integrations, and best practices.
