Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer Location: Canberra (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite) / Remote & Interstate considered on a case-by-case basis Estimated Start Date: 2 February 2026 Security Requirement: Active NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory) Hatchit Studios is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Solution Lead / Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to support a major federal government program. This is an EL1-equivalent leadership role guiding Salesforce delivery teams to design, build, and implement secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise solutions. You will lead technical delivery across multiple Salesforce projects, champion best-practice configuration, manage CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional seeking to lead high-impact transformation within a complex government environment. Key Responsibilities Lead Salesforce development teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions aligned with government technology and security frameworks. Interpret business needs and design tailored, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions. Develop and present solution designs, prototypes, and architecture artefacts. Champion configuration over code , maximising out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities. Review developer outputs to ensure quality, compliance, maintainability, and alignment with best practice. Manage Salesforce releases through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines , including branching, deployment automation, and release governance. Oversee Salesforce environments, including test data seeding, refreshes, and environment management. Ensure adherence to federal government standards, including cyber security and records management requirements. Collaborate with architects and participate in design review forums to ensure alignment with approved patterns. Define and oversee delivery activities within an Agile environment, managing multiple concurrent workstreams. Skills & Experience Required Technical & Leadership 5+ years’ experience leading enterprise-level Salesforce delivery. Deep technical capability in: Declarative configuration: Flows, Permission Sets, Security Models Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud , ideally including case management and omni-channel routing. Strong background in solution design, documentation, and architecture alignment. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting development and deployment issues. Hands‑on management of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce workloads. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide persuasive, evidence‑based recommendations. Active NV1 security clearance (mandatory). Portal and console interface design using Lightning and Omnistudio . Experience maintaining and enhancing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
