Excellent benefits including salary packaging Fitzroy location **About the Role** You will work as part of the Biochemistry team to produce accurate, high quality and timely results and reports across the Automated Biochemistry, Autoimmune Serology, Proteins, and Chromatography areas. You will be responsible for the efficient performance of routine testing and other duties that are assigned to you and will be directly responsible for the quality of the work performed. ($63,674 - $106,906 per annum) depending on experience Duties include: Previous experience in a Diagnostic Clinical Biochemistry LaboratoryPrevious experience in Autoimmune Serology, Proteins or Chromatography is desirable but not essential The ability to work as a sole scientist at night or on weekends The ability to perform routine tests and maintenance of scientific instruments The ability to authorise reports and to communicate by telephone quantitative and qualitative results and provide advice to clients on laboratory procedures.
